Chubby - 30L Pressure Fermenter

Looking for a round bottomed pressure fermenter that will hold your whole single batch of beer?

Well, whip out your Chubby and get the pressure on your next batch. Perfect for 23-25L batches without having to compromise or change your volumes.

Chubby has all the volume you need plus headspace.

These rugged, durable PET pressure fermenters are made from the same crystal clear PET material as our entire line of Fermenter King pressure fermenters and unitanks.

The pressure caps on these come standard and are the same, high strength design as those used in our smaller 20L Fermenter King Junior fermenters.

Even without a dump valve, brewers can still extract bright, clear beer after fermentation by way of the floating diptubes that come standard with each Chubby fermenter.

Easy to clean and contains fewer parts than unitank style pressure fermenters, Chubby is easily maintained by using a keg washer after fermentation.

The super smooth interiors make clean up simple.

Everything is more exciting when you have a Chubby!

Height = 595mm to top of posts on the lid

Please note:

Keg King highly advises using homebrew-grade cleaning chemicals like phosphoric acid-based sanitisers and non-caustic cleaners. Follow the recommended dilution rates on the product labels or from reputable homebrew books such asHow To Brewby John Palmer.

Phosphoric acid sanitisers should have the pH range between 2.2 - 2.8. This is about a 1.5 - 2ml of sanitiser in 1L of water. Above the pH of 2.8, the sanitiser fails the 30-second test to prevent microbial growth. Below 2.2ph range, the sanitiser will affect the flavour of beer.

Heat does more damage to PET fermenters than chemicals. At  55 degrees Celsius, the PET will soften and deform permanently. It is best to allow hot cleaning solutions to cool down to at least 30 degrees C before use.

Adhering to these recommendations will ensure the integrity of your fermenter tank for its useable life.
