CRISP® Flakes Torrified Barley (EBC 2.5-4.5) Flakes of Torrified Barley consists of grains that have been boiled at high temperature, resulting in gelatinization of the starched endosperm.
Using Flaked Torrefied Barley from Crisp promotes foam crown creaminess and body to the finished beer. Its taste is slightly stronger than the wheat equivalent of Torrefied Wheat.
