American hops
The hops are the part of the beer that gives bitterness, taste and aroma. When you brew a beer, the hops are used at different times in the boil to get exactly what you want. A hop with high alpha acid is often used to give the beer the bitterness you want. (IBU). The longer you give the hops in the boil, the higher bitterness you extract. Later gifts (at the end of the boil) give not only a bitterness but also more aromas and aromas that are important for the character of the beer.
Low alpha acid hops are mostly used to give aromas. Dry hop hops are very popular in modern beers. The hops are then added to the wort after the fermentation process has started.
Here you will find both hops that are suitable for bitterness and those that work better for aroma. All our hop varieties are of a high quality and are well packaged to retain the properties we want to fill our beers with.
